Frequently Asked Questions

What age is this for?

It is typically helpful for children starting around age 4 – depending on what type of lisp they have.

Are all lisps the same?

No. There are two types of lisps, frontal and lateral. The frontal lisp can often be age appropriate. Lateral lisps are never considered to be developmentally appropriate.

How much time do I need each day?

Just 5–10 minutes of consistent practice can make a difference.

Do I need speech therapy training?

No. The program is written clearly for parents. It doesn’t replace an assessment or treatment by a speech therapist or any other professional but does suggest when you should seek more help.
